Crespo sees no problem with Bronx DA's plan to become a state judge
Assemblyman Marcos Crespo sees no problem with Bronx District Attorney Robert Johnson's decision to leave his post in order to become the latest state judge appointed by the Bronx Democratic machine.
In this clip from a recent sit-down interview with Crespo, current chairman of the Bronx Democratic Party, the Assemblyman argues that the decision to appoint Johnson as a state Supreme Court judge is in line with the actions of other party leaders in counties throughout the state.
Crespo, 35, has been hailed by many as part of a new wave of leadership within the Democratic Party, and during this interview with City & State Editor-at-Large Gerson Borrero, he appeared comfortable in his role as a traditional party boss.
