The HOPE Program raised more than $370,000 at an event in Brooklyn. More than 300 people attended the event, which included a wide assortment of food and beverage offerings, according to a press release. The funds will benefit employment programs.

Susan George is a senior associate at Bressler, Amery & Ross, where she specializes in regulatory defense and securities arbitration, according to a post on the firm’s website. She is also active in providing pro bono legal services to veterans.
Up to speed on #FairFutures? Youth advocates want $50 million in the upcoming New York City budget to provide life coaching for youth who are in foster care and those who age out after at age 21. Jess Dannhauser, president of Graham Windham and Pilar Laurancuent, director of the SLAM coaching program at Graham Windham, appeared on WNYC’s “The Brian Lehrer Show” on May 9 to discuss the proposal.

Maximus Human Services has received a $23.8 million contract from the city Department of Social Services. The money will fund the Wellness, Comprehensive Assessment, Rehabilitation and Employment Program through January 2022, according to the City Record. SBH Community Service Network has received two contracts – for $164,500 and $115,000 – to provide senior services on behalf of the Department for the Aging.
