Huntington Hospital Association is a 371-bed nonprofit hospital that serves the Huntington area in Long Island, New York. In May 2021, the hospital group opened up a specialized wound care and hyperbaric medicine treatment center to treat patients with non-healing wounds that threaten lower extremities and chronic skin wounds, such as diabetic foot ulcers and bedsores. Huntington Hospital also received a B-grade for safety by the Leapfrog's Spring Safety Grades in the same month, allowing Huntington to have the third best ranking in Long Island, behind NYU Langone in Mineola and St. Francis in Roslyn.

The Pension Comm Joint Industry Board of the Electrical Industry is the joint-management cooperative organization that administers all plans and benefits agreed upon between New York employer contractors and IBEW Local Union No. 3. The goal of its creation was to ensure worker compensation and create better relationships between employers and employees of the electrical industry. So far, 70,000 have benefited from plans administered by JIB.

Garnet Health Medical Center, a nonprofit hospital headquartered in Middletown, New York, announced recently that Alfred Pilong Jr. would be the new President and CEO of Garnet Medical Center. Pilong Jr. is taking over for Scott Batulis, who retired on Dec. 31 after 15 years of service. Pilong Jr. took on the job after Garnet Health closed down its skilled nursing unit, which laid off about 118 employees, in August. The skilled nursing unit was a 64-bed unit located in Garnet Health's hospital in Harris, New York. Garnet health said it was closing down the unit because of low patient volumes. In January 2021, Garnet Health also was probed for offering its board members COVID vaccine shots, which violated the state’s priority system.
