Try asking any Brooklynite to name their favorite thing about the borough, and inevitably theresponse is: “Only one?”

City & State posed this question to a handful of notable Brooklyn residents, from city andstate legislators and government officials to entrepreneurs and CEOs of businesses big and small. The responses we received reflect Brooklyn’s wealth of diverse, popular destinations, such as Coney Island orProspect Park, while others are unique in their intimacy, like a backyard in Bensonhurst or a local pizzeria.Therein lies the beauty of Brooklyn: There is truly something for everbody.
