New York City's Top Ten Lobbyists
With a new mayor and lots of turnover in the New York City Council, the total number of dollars spent on lobbying jumped significantly last year, from $62.7 million in 2013 to nearly $72 million in 2014. There were also some small shifts in the list of top 10 lobbyists, which is compiled and distributed each March by the New York City Clerk’s office.
In our annual special section, City & State reached out to the top 10 firms and asked each of them to recap their year, identifying the key players at their outfits, highlighting their biggest successes and weighing in on changes they would like to see to city lobbying laws.
