Bill de Blasio
Photos: The 2017 Mermaid Parade
Mermaids love the water, so a little rain wasn't going to slow down Coney Island's 2017 edition of the Mermaid Parade. While Mayor Bill de Blasio didn't march as in years past, papier mâché Donald Trump made a guest appearance (right) and parade marshals Debbie Harry and Chris Stein of Blondie made sure all of the revelers were in good spirits as the "Rapture" eventually gave way to sunshine. Check out photos from this year's event, and scroll all the way to the bottom to see New York's first family in Mermaid attire.
