The Fund offers awards to accomplished city workers and educators, offers bridge loans to nonprofits awaiting government or foundation dollars, and a partner project program that offers back-end support for startup organizations. Mary McCormick, president of the Fund has had a long career in city government, served the Robin Hood Foundation's board, and helped co-found the Food Bank for New York City.
